從3月16日開始，聯(lián)合.xyz注冊(cè)局舉辦了.xyz保留域名拍賣會(huì)（http://www./active/xyzpm/），目前拍賣會(huì)進(jìn)程過半，拍賣總金額也早已超過100萬。此次拍賣會(huì)不僅吸引了眾多國內(nèi)用戶參與，更吸引了國外投資者的熱切關(guān)注，今天我們的專訪嘉賓Hussain Ejaz就是其中之一。他對(duì)本次拍賣會(huì)有何看法？國外投資者如何看待新頂級(jí)域名？國外域名市場有哪些最新動(dòng)態(tài)？答案就在他的回答之中。

1.請(qǐng)向中國的投資者們做個(gè)自我介紹吧。我主要是一名汽車工程師，在美國密歇根也做些小生意。我過去研究過域名投資行業(yè)并且開始小規(guī)模投資，也小有收獲?，F(xiàn)在我是個(gè)積極的業(yè)余域名投資愛好者。

2.您是什么時(shí)候進(jìn)入域名投資行業(yè)的？我從2013年開始投資域名，目前大約有500個(gè)域名，其中300個(gè)是.xyz域名。2013年，在我第一次為我的生意搜索域名時(shí)，就激起了我的域名投資興趣。

3.為什么關(guān)注.xyz，看好本次拍賣會(huì)哪些域名？首先，這是新頂級(jí)域名，我也十分相信它有一些超過.com的優(yōu)勢?，F(xiàn)在整個(gè)網(wǎng)絡(luò)世界都關(guān)注.xyz，這個(gè)后綴有很大的潛力和機(jī)會(huì)。正如大家所知，谷歌也注冊(cè)了abc.xyz。在過去的六個(gè)月內(nèi)，.xyz的注冊(cè)量大概有200萬，并且在2016年三月總量達(dá)到了260萬，其中100萬在中國注冊(cè)。并且xyz后綴可以以低于1美元的價(jià)格購買，在促銷期甚至更低。簡而言之，xyz是目前投資者最好的選擇，當(dāng)然現(xiàn)在也有許多其他的有含義的后綴可以以低價(jià)購買，但我同意Daniel Negari（XYZ公司CEO）所說，注冊(cè)數(shù)量不是關(guān)鍵，域名的優(yōu)質(zhì)性是成功最好的導(dǎo)師。

在我看來，我很看好本次拍賣會(huì)上的三字母域名。

4.除了.xyz域名，您還關(guān)注哪一些域名后綴？目前除了xyz沒有特別關(guān)注的，我也看好com，但由于.com資源非常有限，其他域名不具有多用途的特色，暫無其他選擇。

5.跟我們大家分享一下您所了解的國外投資行情，有沒有什么特征？在國外域名投資者眼中，中國是最大的市場。根本原因是投資者可在域名投資中獲利，我很確信投資者清楚知道未來該行業(yè)是可以獲利的，如果國外投資人可以加入中國域名行業(yè)，那么市場增長率將非常可觀。

6.國外投資人怎么看待gtld（傳統(tǒng)頂級(jí)域名）和new gtld（新頂級(jí)域名）的價(jià)值，他們二者之間是否有沖突？由于傳統(tǒng)頂級(jí)域名的資源有限，所有的人開始投資新頂級(jí)域，雖然.com用途廣泛卻無法獲取更多資源。然后，.net和.org可以適用于部分投資者，雖然也許會(huì)有注冊(cè)限制，但他們卻不如.com便宜。

7.對(duì)中國在新通用頂級(jí)域名的發(fā)展如何認(rèn)識(shí)/看待的？對(duì)于新頂級(jí)域投資，中國是最大的市場。比如到2016年3月，超過100萬個(gè)xyz是在中國注冊(cè)。有趣的是，很多是出于投資而買，并非實(shí)際應(yīng)用。未來的市場將會(huì)更加繁榮，因?yàn)橥ㄟ^數(shù)據(jù)圖可看到一只在增長，投資者也適時(shí)抓住機(jī)會(huì)獲得利潤，整個(gè)行情就是可以輕松以較優(yōu)惠的價(jià)格購買到喜歡的域名。

8.是否有大規(guī)模進(jìn)入中國市場的打算？以當(dāng)前趨勢來看，當(dāng)然！我只是希望能夠盡快出英文版官網(wǎng)，這不僅會(huì)方便于我，還將惠及廣大的國外投資者。這也將吸引國外客戶投資中國域名市場，最終中國域名市場將無所匹敵，致整個(gè)世界的投資者在中國市場投資。

9.通過注冊(cè)拍賣，對(duì)中國域名投資市場的看法？在本次拍賣中，只有二到三字母或數(shù)字前綴，我希望看到更多的有含義的單詞域名，如Foodindustry.xyz,HybridMotors.xyz,Powerindustry.xyz,如果可以，我將購買更多的域名，這也將吸引許多商業(yè)實(shí)體來參加網(wǎng)上購買或競拍。

10.是否會(huì)在美國的投資圈宣傳一下自己的這次收獲？當(dāng)然會(huì)，不僅對(duì)美國朋友，也會(huì)對(duì)我在其他國家的朋友宣傳。再次希望貴司能夠盡快出英文版，這樣更多的人會(huì)明白流程參與其中。

11.是否會(huì)邀請(qǐng)更多投資圈的朋友來中國“淘金”是的，我會(huì)，我正在和許多好友討論中國的投資機(jī)會(huì)，很多人認(rèn)為中國域名市場的潛力巨大。

12.除語言外，阻礙國外用戶進(jìn)入中國域名交易的最大障礙是什么？我認(rèn)為，最大的障礙就是語言。事實(shí)上，貴司可能還不知曉國外有非常巨大的市場潛力，大家都在討論中國市場，但遺憾的是中國注冊(cè)商并未十分重視到該問題，如果貴司知曉中國域名市場在國外的熱度，恐怕今天開始就會(huì)立馬著手英文版官網(wǎng)的事宜。

13.點(diǎn)評(píng)一下的拍賣平臺(tái)與流程呢？有許多地方還需要改進(jìn)，比如在支付時(shí)沒有英文版的郵件通知，手續(xù)費(fèi)太貴。在其他國家，（通過Paypal）是沒有手續(xù)費(fèi)的。在貝寶支付上，是有適用于市場交易的API的，是不需要手續(xù)費(fèi)的。但我還是要夸獎(jiǎng)貴司的競拍系統(tǒng)，信息公開透明，也簡單易懂。

14.是否希望與更多中國投資人進(jìn)行交流？是的，這非常有意義，可以擴(kuò)寬我的投資視野，我也想了解他們的投資經(jīng)歷。

1.Shall we begin by a self-introduction? Let us know more about you.(For example, you career, the city you live in and so on)

I’m basically an automobile engineer I have a small business in the US Michigan. I researched on the domain investment industry and started investing on a small scale. The experience was productive, and now I’m an active part time domain investor.

2. When did you set foot in the domain investment?

I have been investing in domains since 2013. Today i own around 500 domains and among them 300 are .xyz domains. My interest in the domain investment arouse when first time I was searching a domain name for my business website in 2013.

3. What calls your attention on .XYZ domains? Which domains you care much in the March Auction?

It is the top level new generation gTLD, I am quite sure .Xyz Will End .Com Dominance. The entire web world is focused on xyz domains now and there are lots of opportunities in this category. As you can see Google also availed abc.xyz. You know around 2 million .XYZ domain names are purchased in the last 6 months, while the total volume has reached to 2.8 million in march 2016. The interesting thing is, out of the 2.8milions, 1 Million are registered from China. The .xyz domains can be purchased for as low as $1.00 and many of them are also on a promotional price or free to register. So in short, xyz is the best option for investors right now. Also there are so many keywords related domains are available to buy at low price. Here I am agree to Daniel Negari, registration numbers don’t matter. Utilization is the best indicator of success.

4.What are other TLDs sharing your interest, together with XYZ?

Not any at the moment. Other than XYZ, I’ve always been looking for .com domains. But as .coms are depleting, and other gTLDs are not multipurpose, so there is no other option.5.Could you please share some market information in foreign domain investment? Is there any characteristic of that?

Thousands of peoples are investing in xyz. The future is xyz, and there is no other option for people in the gTLDs. In foreign domain investment, China is the biggest market at the moment. The basic reason is the interest of investors in domains. I’m sure investors are aware how lucrative this business can be in future. The market growth can be better if the outer world could participate in the Chinese domain industry.My suggestion is, we should invest in generic domains, and must never invest in any type of trade mark names.

6. How do people in your country think of the value of gTLD and new gTLD? Have those two TLDs caused any discussion?

All people are investing in new gTLDs because TLDs are limited now. Only .com was for multipurpose and we don’t have it any more. Moreover, the .Net and .Org can serve to restricted audience there maybe some restrictions to register. They are also not that cheap to buy compared to .com.

7. How do you like the development of new gTLD in China? How do you think of the growing of new gTLDs in China’s market?

China is at the top as far as investing in gTLDs in concerned. You can see that 1 million xyz domains were registered from China until march 2016. And the interesting fact is that most domains are bought by investment point of view, not for development. The market will flourish in the days to come as you can see the graph is pointing upwards continuously, and the investors are eyeing it a good opportunity to make some money. Having said that, businesses looking to buy xyz for development are also not discouraged; they are cheap, they are easy to buy and there are plenty of options to get the domain you love and desire.

8. Will you plan a large sum of money for investment in China’s domain marketing in the near future?

Seeing the trend why not! I just want to give you a suggestion to provide an English version of your site. The English platform would not only be easy for me but also to investors from the rest of the world. It will attract them to invest in your market and eventually Chinese domain market will be matchless. You can leave the entire world behind begging domains from China.

9.Now as you experienced registration and auction on , have you gained more ideas for China’s domain market.

All the March 2016 auction domains are with single letters to three or four letters or numbers. I’d like to see keyword domains too. For example,Foodindustry.xyz,HybridMotors.xyz,Powerindustry.xyz,If this happens, I might be able to buy more domains, and this will also attract businesses to buy or bid on domains for their online ventures.

10.Will you show your auction results to your American fellow?

Why not! Not only to the US fellows, but my friends in other countries too! Again, you have to develop your system in English, so other people can understand your procedures and bid system conveniently.

11.Will you introduce some domain brokers into China’s domain investment industry?

Yes I do want to. As I am discussing with the people about the investment opportunities in China. Someone will come up surely seeing the potential of the Chinese domain market.

12. Which obstacle is the biggest for foreigners to invest in China domain market, except for language?

I’m afraid, the only problem is language. In fact, China doesn’t know how mad investors are about Chinese domain market. The internet is teemed with comments and discussions about your market, but the problem is that Chinese are not aware of it because no one here follows English discussions. If you know what the rest of the world thinks about Chinese domain market, your company would start working on the English version by today.

13.Could you please comment on the function design and transaction process in west.top?

Lots of things need improvement. For example, there is no transaction confirmation as you make the payment, and there is a huge handling fee which should not be there or must be very less. In other countries, there is no handling fee. On PayPal there are some APIs for marketplaces, where are exempted from handling fees.I specifically like to praise your live bidding system; that’s extremely good and easy to understand there is nothing hidden.

14.Would you like to communicate with more Chinese domain investors?

Sure, it would give me a better insight of the Chinese market and I would love to learn from their experience. It’ll be very productive for me.
